WHAT IS HEALTH COACHING?

My goal as a health coach is to be your advocate, partner, sounding board, and teammate in designing the life you deserve! One that fulfills your happiness, makes you feel your best and allows you to share the best version of yourself with your loved ones.

Health coaches listen to your concerns and help you decide the path to make the changes needed for a healthier happier life. We are your support system, your ally, your cheerleader and your resource to help you understand what wellness and health mean to you! We are the bridge between you and your provider to help you understand your diagnosis and the recommendations they are making. We are here to help empower you by looking at what matters most to you so that you can use that to make the lifestyle changes to achieve your goals!

During coaching session, it’s about exploration and goal setting. We will not be answering medical questions, making recommendations, or give prescriptions. We are not there to tell you what to do, but instead to be a resource for understanding and guidance on implementation.

Changes don't happen overnight, nor do they always stick. This is why health coaches work with you, one-on-one, to help you make sustainable, life-long changes in many areas of your life that will improve your state of wellness. Coaching sessions are for support, guidance, and exploration! 

 

Sessions are driven by YOU -- you are in charge and you set the agenda!! Coaching is client-centered and client-focused. I am here to help you brainstorm, dig deeper, and to cheer you on. Ultimately, the topics of discussion and the goals that are set are all your own! 

I am not a doctor/provider and do not give medical advice or guidance. I am also not a Nutritionist and will not be prescribing Meal Plans. When your provider gives you recommendations or changes that they would like to see you make we can discuss them further so that you understand why they want you to make those changes. From there you are in charge of what changes you make, and how and when you make those changes. You are in control! Coaching is about finding what works for you and your lifestyle so that these changes are long-lasting!
